I have to borrow this post from my sister Heidi, about the opportunity we have of going to Vancouver to see our SOON-TO-BE sister compete in the Winter Olympics. She is an incredible snowboarder and an even more incredible person. We love her and wish her the best of Luck in the next couple of weeks. Garrett will be in Seattle for work, so we decided to make a trip out of it and mix work with pleasure. So after a few days in Seattle we will head up to cheer our GUTS out for this amazing girl and soak in the awe of the Winter Olympics.
I hate to admit this but how sad is it, that when the Olympics came to Utah I saw very little. I didn't attend any events and mingled minimally in downtown during the two week event. Looking back I was stupid and should have really taken advantage of such a wonderful opportunity to have the Olympics in my own backyard.
So when this opportunity came about, I didn't get my hopes up because I thought we would have to pull a lot of strings to make it work and I just didn't want to be disappointed. But my cute hubby just kept saying "We are going", we can make it work, this is a once in a life-time thing". So he did most of the planning and preparing. And now I can be Giddy and not be disappointed because the strings have been pulled and almost everything is ready (thank you to family and friends for helping with kids, lessons, etc!!!!)
And what makes this even more special is not only am I attending the Winter Games in Vancouver but I get to cheer on someone I Know, and Love, and truly ADMIRE!!!!!
GOOD LUCK TORAH, we love you and all that you represent!!!!!!
Kenedy(as I am doing her hair): "Mom will you do my hair Fancy today? Everyone at school. Maybe do three ponytails with swirlies in them". Everyone will love it
Dad: Gavin will you be my bumble bee? Gavin: "No dad, that is embarrasing" Mom: "Where did you learn that word"? Gavin: "From Nursery".

I have the Right shoe, now where is the wrong one?
We met in Good Ol' Provo in the summer of 2003 at King Henry. At the time my roomate was getting ready to marry his roomate, soon to follow my other roomate married his other roomate and so we decided to fall in line and follow the trend. Garrett and I were married in July of 2003. He is my absolute best friend. He makes me a better person, friend and mother and I find myself more in love with him as each day passes!!!! We have two incredible children: Kenedy and Gavin. Life couldn't be better.
