Happy Birthdya Babe (sorry it's a little late)

Garrett's ice tools that I was actually able to pull off as a SURPRISE!!!

So my Handsome hubby had a birthday this last week and I would have been a lot better about posting something on his actual birthday but I have felt a little under the weather the lately. So a week late is how it's going to have to be. I will keep this short and sweet because Garrett would be embarrassed if I rambled on and on about him so I just simply want to say that I love you and I am glad that you are in my life. I realize more and more each day just how much I can't Live without you!!!!!

The Artist In My Life

*
Kenedy received an art easel from Santa for Christmas and we were so excited for her to have a little bit more formal of a space to work with. She likes it and every now and then she wants to paint or draw, but with this whole gift our little Gavin has been showing us his artistic side (I posses zero artistic ability whatsoever) he is at the easel every day trying to get into the paints or chalk, basically anything he can get his hands on . I thought he would just punch and scribble if I gave him some crayons and it would last for a few seconds. Come to find out this will entertain him for almost an hour. Especially if we put the paper on the floor. He will get down nice and low and concentrate on what he is doing. He knows which colors he wants and has a particular item in mind. So while I was fixing some dinner I threw out a sheet of paper and let him get down to business, needless to say he is still hard at work and I am thrilled that we may have an artist in the family.

Happy New Year!

Well here comes another exciting year with new ambitions and more goals:

1. Try not to leave folded laundry in the baskets longer than two days.

2. Let the kids toys stay a mess longer than necessary to help you realize that you aren't totally anal.

3. Be a better person at picking up my phone when it rings, and returning messages (bad habit from my family).

4. Try lots and lots of new recipes.

5. Be a better wife and mother.

6. Work on Patience.

7. Serve others more often.

8. Read more books just for fun!

9. be a little bit more frugal and save a few more pennies.

10. Be a friend people can count on.

I would possibly add to the list be a little more fit and branch out in my exercising options but I get a break this year and look forward to getting a little more plump
(For a wonderful cause).

* the list is endless and I wrote down a few just as to not overwhelm myself with EVERYTHING! I love new years they open up lots of doors and new opportunities. I hope everyone enjoys this upcoming year and takes time for themselves.
